Originally from Holland, I am well embedded in my home village of The Straad at St Ninian's Bay. I draw inspiration from my surroundings at daily walks on the beach and incorporate colours, moods and found objects to create a serendipity of mixed media art pieces.

I enjoy using papers, plant fibres and textiles in my free machine embroidered work or finding new uses for printed and collaged materials in my hand made cards, often linking back to the Isle of Bute.

Although I like to work with natural fibres, I won't shy away from adding some glitz, shine and sparkle, to uplift our mood and spirit. I occasionally organise a "play day" where we can experiment and share our passion for mixed media arts. You coming along?
