I am originally from Ukraine, Kyiv. The war forced me to leave my home, so now I live and work in Scotland.
I am very grateful to the people of Great Britain and in particular Argyll and Bute, for their help and support during this difficult time for me and my country. I hate war and adore art because art brings beauty and harmony to the world.
Since the age of 10, I studied painting on my own. This has always been my calling and inspiration. I have studied the artistic techniques of various masters. I constantly improve my skills, researching the directions of the painting by artists of different disciplines. Now, painting helps me not to lose my heart and believe that even after the darkest night, the dawn will come.
I had to leave my paintings behind in Kyiv and so I have started to re-build my collection, this time using landscapes and scenes from the beautiful island of Bute. I really like the Isle of Bute. The beauty of the local nature helps me to relax and inspires creativity.
I like to use oil and acrylic on canvas, using modern and traditional techniques to create realist and impressionist art. I paint pictures in the styles of realism, expressionism, and abstractionism, using various methods to apply the paint to the canvas. These paintings will decorate your home or office, will be a wonderful gift for the holiday, and will certainly bring you a good mood.
