Tom Allan MA ARBS SSA PAI

I studied sculpture at Glasgow School of Art and also trained in Carrara, Italy. Working mainly in stone and marble, I have been producing both figurative and abstract sculptures since 1977, full-time since 1999.

Since 2020 I work, and sometimes teach stone-carving, at my studio on the Mount Stuart Estate, Isle of Bute.

I have exhibited in solo and group exhibitions throughout Britain, and my sculptures are in collections in Britain, Europe, and the Americas.
