Carol Nunan is an artist and printmaker who joined the Isle of Bute Artists' Collective in early 2023.
She works from a garden studio with a lovely outlook over The Pavilion and Rothesay Bay — a view that changes with every tide, with the ferry coming and going and The Waverley making its summer appearances. When the weather is sunny, visitors are welcome to relax in the garden with a cup of tea and take it all in.
A visit offers a glimpse into the life of a working artist — work in progress, freshly pulled prints, and new work in development. Carol is currently exploring multi-layered monotype, building towards a collection of larger prints for a solo exhibition in Northumberland this July/August.
Carol's studio is open to visitors by appointment throughout the year — just get in touch to make sure she's in! She also appears at selected Bute Yard Art & Craft Markets; check her website Events page for upcoming dates. Carol also runs a programme of printmaking workshops. See what's available here.
