Anne is a professional pastel painter. She has been exhibiting and tutoring groups for many years. Initially, she worked from her studio in Langholm, Dumfriesshire taking part in the region’s Spring Fling(Open Studios). She exhibited widely in Dumfriesshire and in Cumbria. Her first love was to show her work in the Artists' Towns of Kirkcudbright in the High Street Gallery and also in the Tolbooth Gallery where she continues with her solo exhibitions.

Anne relocated to Bute where she continues to paint and tutor. She lives in the beautiful village of Kilchattan Bay and has a little cottage on the beach which is a constant source of inspiration. Here she feels in tune with nature with the flow of natural patterns whether it be in wave,rock, sea or sky. She works her pastels layer upon layer building on texture and colour with each application creating flow and movement.
