I am a trained actress and jewellery-maker and trained at both the RSAMD and Glasgow School of art.

I hand make both foam and papier mache puppets and "Crankies", a moving panorama that I tell stories to. I am a registered, professional storyteller. I hold workshops on puppet-making. This is my eighth year in my workshop. I hand-paint my eighty foot Crankie scrolls.

I got into puppet-making as a professional storyteller, and the Crankies are part of storytelling as well. I am self-taught as a puppet-maker, and each one is hand-made. I work to commission, making specific puppets for people who use them in their work - or just love puppets and/or Crankies.
